Let’s talk body goals and keeping fit

Aubrey Ndisengei, a personal trainer from Tiger Athletic Fitness and Conditioning has provided eight tips to help you stay fit and healthy.

1. First things first, book a consultation with a qualified personal trainer to ensure a safe and effective start to any new program of exercise.

2. Organize your fridge in a way that will help shed unwanted weight and keep you healthy.

3. Have a vegetarian day, having just one meat-free meal a week has been shown to reduce the risk for chronic preventable conditions including heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

4. Stock up on superfoods- keeping superfoods will allow you to prepare healthy meals because take-outs are more to likely to add extra calories.

5. Always have that can-do attitude and personality, your personality does not only contribute to your health but also contributes to losing weight and staying healthy.

6. Eliminate bad training habits, exercise is the most important component of staying healthy and avoid taking short cuts during your exercising program.

7. Fitness goals need a strong core, it is important to add strength and conditioning to any fitness routine.

8. Invest in fat burning foods because certain foods have thermogenic effects that influence your fitness goals so investing in these will help you burn calories as you chew.

There you have it, tips to keep you in shape and healthy all year round. Why not give them a try?
